Key Operational and Ethical Clarifications
Retainer for Availability: Your monthly fee is a non-refundable retainer for availability, not a deposit for future work. This fee is considered earned upon receipt by Atik Law PLLC (the licensed entity providing the services, doing business as Angora Legal Services) to ensure we reserve the necessary legal capacity for your proactive counsel.
Use It or Lose It: The included time is for proactive, scheduled counsel (e.g., contract review, strategy, compliance). To maintain the predictable schedule, the time is use it or lose it within the calendar month and does not roll over.
Exceeding Your Plan: If you require legal services beyond your included monthly hours, all additional work will be billed at your guaranteed low subscriber rate ($300/hour or $200/hour).
Rate Reversion for Lapsed Subscriptions: Maintaining your subscription is the only way to retain your discounted rate. If you miss a monthly payment, the special Angora GC rate benefit is immediately removed, and any future legal work will revert to the firm’s standard hourly rate ($375/hour or $250/hour).
